Yes, it is best to avoid dairy in children with diarrhea, but breastmilk is Non dairy....I am not a cow, I am a human, therefore my milk is not dairy! Howevever, I should avoid dairy while nursing a baby with diarrhea. Nursing your infant frequently (every hour or so) is the best way to combat aridity in an infant suffering from diarrhea. You lot may requite a modest amount of pedialite from a sippy cup or bottle between nursings if needed.
